RDF – Refuse Derived Fuel is produced from MSW by shredding, drying and bailing. Material recovery is not consistently performed and thus RDF is not the most efficient fuel.
SRF – Solid Recovered Fuel is more sophisticated at the material recovery stage, and can be produced to predefined specifications.
